BP Slated in Norwegian Fire Report.
BP is once again under the spotlight nearly two years after a rig leased by BP exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, killing 11 men and leading to the worst offshore oil spill in US history. This time, the company has been ordered to take immediate steps to address a number of what are described as "serious breaches" of regulations in connection with a fire last year on its Valhall platform.

Report Underlines Need for Coordination Flood Response.
A new report from the UK's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) on the recent Exercise Watermark shows that England and Wales has the capability to respond to severe, widespread flood emergencies, but there remains a lack of robust, intelligence-led systems to coordinate such operations.
